EXECUTIVE BOARD - 2016-2017

Donna Vail - President

I am serving my sixth term as president of the Staffordville Lake Association. I have been living on Staffordville Lake for just under 25 years, which by New England standards, makes me a newcomer. My agenda is simple and straight-forward: Preserve Staffordville Lake and increase the awareness of erosion and contamination possibilities within Staffordville Lake. My hope is that Staffordville Lake exists for many years to come so that my grandchildren and their grandchildren will have the opportunity to enjoy its beauty.

Craig Ingalls - Vice President

I grew up in Enfield, CT in the 1970s and graduated from Enfield High School. I worked for thirty years in the air freight industry doing various jobs including driving and management positions. I have raised two children of my own and helped raise two step-children whom are all an important part of my life. I am currently unemployed and attending Capitol Community College, and I am scheduled to graduate in 2014 as a Registered Nurse. I have been involved with the Somers Sportsman’s Club for the past twenty years and am currently their vice-president. In December of 2010 my significant other and I purchased a house on Lake Shore Blvd and currently reside there full time. Last year I was the lake association secretary but when asked to, I assumed the vice-president position which I am better equipped to manage due to my previous leadership experience and lack of formal office skills.

Laurel Mangan - Secretary

A graduate of UConn Law School, I currently practice law (elder law) in Rockville, CT and reside in Ellington, CT. I have been coming to the lake for 30+ years and love to swim around the island at the north end. We own the cottage at 126 Wales Road. My father, William D'Aquila, originally purchased the property in the 1970s. I am serving as secretary because I care about the health and well-being of the lake.

Valerie Muszynski - Treasurer

I have been treasurer since 2004. My family (JORDT) has been on the lake since 1950. We have had 4 generations enjoy this wonderful place and look forward to many more. Should you need anything, please feel free to stop by and say "HI". My cottage is just past the small island.

Staffordville Lake Association has a wonderful, hard working Board of Directors this year and we are all looking forward to enjoying the beauty and benefits Staffordville Lake has to offer!
